Introduction Bristol is approximately a two-hour train ride outside of London in South West England with a population of approximately 500,000. Bristol is the center for well-established electronics and aerospace industries in the UK, but it has also more recently been attracting a new generation of tech start-up companies. In addition to STEM-related commercial organizations, also located in Bristol is the University of Bristol, an institution currently ranked in the top 40 by QS World University Rankings. The university is a key academic institution for STEM-related research.Participants who are want to intern abroad in Bristol will find it a fantastic location for STEM-related opportunities. Through a unique collaboration with faculty at the University of Bristol, API will be offering special STEM-focused placements.
