Courses

PLACEMENT INFORMATION

Put your teaching skills into practice while assisting a local English teacher in public schools part-time, teaching across all levels and ages. Participants are placed in the Region of Piedmont (north of Italy), with mountains within 1 hour's reach and the sea 45 minutes away

Highlights
  • Guaranteed part-time position - unpaid, accommodations and meals included
  • Two set start dates throughout the year: Fall: mid-late September through mid-late December // Spring: mid-late January through mid-late April
  • 3-month commitment
  • 15-18 hours/week, focused on improving students’ conversational English
  • Placements located at primary or secondary schools in northern Italy (Piemonte)
  • Italian classes included
  • Organized in cooperation with the Italian Ministry of Education

Faculty

Participants will be housed with an Italian host family, where they will have a private room, and be provided with all meals (for Teacher’s Assistants, lunch is taken at school during the week).

Applications are accepted on a rolling basis. We recommend you apply at least 12 weeks before your program starts to have sufficient time to get your placement and make your plans.
