API’s standard business hours are Monday-Friday 8am-5pm Central Standard Time.
(Application, financial and other pre-departure concerns will only be addressed during standard business hours.)
If you need to report an emergency outside of normal business hours, call +1-512-600-8900 and press 9 to be directed to our after-hours respondent. An API staff member will respond to all messages within two hours.

PARTICIPANTS ABROAD:
Call your on-site API Resident Director/Coordinator first in the event of an emergency. If you are not able to reach your RD/RC via the emergency line for any reason, call the API Texas office at +1-512-600-8900 during standard business hours. Outside of standard business hours, you will call +1-512-600-8900, then press 9 to be directed to our after-hours respondent. An API staff member will respond to all messages within two hours.
