Badge and Certificate Terms and Conditions 

By purchasing a Badge or Certificate, you, as the Participant, acknowledge and agree to the following terms and conditions:

• Payment Obligation: Participant agrees to pay in full for all Badges and Certificates selected. 
• Billing and Account Charges: Fees will be charged directly to the Participant’s API account upon selection. 
• Payment Deadline: Full payment for all selected Badges and Certificates will be due immediately. Failure to submit payment within 30 days of charge will result in a cancelled order. If a Badge or Certificate is still desired, the Participant will need to re-order through this form. 
• Non-Transferability: Badges and Certificates and corresponding payments are non-transferable to other participants, programs, or future terms.
• Refunds: No refunds will be issued if the Participant fails to earn the Badge or Certificate within the course enrollment period, which is 365 days from the Participant’s API program start date. 
• Issuance: Purchase of a Badge or Certificate does not guarantee that the Participant will successfully earn or receive the Badge or Certificate. Earning a Badge or Certificate is contingent upon successful completion of all required assessments and any other criteria established by API.
• Delivery Method and Timing: Badges and Certificates will be issued electronically upon verification that all program requirements have been satisfied. Processing times may vary.

API does not guarantee employment, academic credit, licensure, certification, or professional advancement as a result of earning a Badge or Certificate.  API reserves the right to modify Badge or Certificate requirements, processes, fees, or policies at any time upon written prior notice. By purchasing a Badge or Certificate, Participant acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
