API is excited to announce a new program for STEM majors at Maynooth University in Ireland! This program is a fantastic fit for students interested in computer science, engineering and more. Let’s dive in to some of the program details.
Take two courses over six weeks
This program is a great option for students interested in getting ahead on their credits. Students choose two course options from a list of STEM and Irish history options. STEM course options include Software Design, Digital Systems, Robotic Systems Project, Climate Change, and more. Students can choose to broaden their academics by also taking courses such as Public Speaking, Ireland and the Great Famine , and The Cultural Heritage of Medieval Ireland.
Experience a small town with Irish charm
This six-week summer program presents the best of both worlds. Students live and study in Ireland’s only university town in a rural setting while also being just 30-40 minutes away from the bustling city center of Dublin! Maynooth is known for its friendly people and the university boasts students from around the world.
Explore more of Ireland with API
Included in your program cost are excursions to Belfast, Galway and more! From medieval history to seaside towns, you will have the opportunity to explore more of this gorgeous island.
Live on campus & near Maynooth’s town center
API students are housed in apartments on campus where they are just a quick walk from the town center, classes, and connecting bus and train routes. Students will enjoy the privacy of a single bed ensuite room with shared communal areas for cooking and socializing. A big perk of this program is that breakfast and lunch are included on campus Monday through Friday! Other programs do not offer this, making Maynooth’s summer STEM program even more cost effective!
