Enrollment FAQs
When will I receive my final packet? Final e-packets are typically released 2-3 weeks prior to the program start date and will include your housing, itinerary, and arrival instructions. These packets are sent via email. If you think you should have received your packet, it may be on hold because you had a past due payment or missing form. Please log into APIConnect to make sure everything is completed. You should also make sure you’ve filled out the Informed Consent form. If these steps are completed and your program starts in the next two weeks, please contact [email protected] so we can send you your packet.
I can’t find my visa documents I needed for my appointment. You should have received an API visa packet from your Program Coordinator either via email or by mail. If you don’t have these documents, please email [email protected] with the forms you’re still missing so we can assist you.
I didn’t get my first housing choice or my roommate request. Can I change my housing? We do our best to accommodate requests submitted via the housing questionnaire, but no requests can be guaranteed. Housing changes cannot be accommodated at this time.
I am traveling outside of the API program dates and want to extend my insurance coverage. Send an email to [email protected]
My flight is delayed. What do I do? We recommend contacting your API Resident Director to let them know. You can find their contact information and additional instructions in the final e-packet. You may need to arrange your own transportation to the accommodations.
