Transcript Timing

Transcripts from overseas academic institutions are typically issued to API 2-3 months after the end of the program. Transcripts from Krakow, the United Kingdom, and integrated programs in Spain may take up to 4 months. Academic year participants may receive separate transcripts for the fall and spring semesters, although some host universities issue only one transcript at the end of the spring semester.

Transcript Copies

API alumni wishing to order an additional transcript can do so by contacting our Transcript Director at [email protected] for further instructions or at 1-800-844-4124. API directly processes and issues most additional transcript copies. In a few cases, the official transcript is instead processed by a U.S. university which serves as the “school of record” and issues the transcript. Only students whose balances have been paid in full are eligible to request additional transcript copies. Payment for the transcripts must be received in advance of any mailings.

Internships:

• All sites – internships completed in English are eligible to receive an official University of Massachusetts Amherst transcript at the conclusion of the program. To request your transcript, send email to: [email protected]
• Internships completed in Spanish are eligible to receive a transcript from Universidad de Congreso at the conclusion of the program.
