Publication Information


API’s Director of Alumni Development and Research, Chelsea Kindred, has co-authored a new resource for the field designed for returning education abroad participants. The journal, Making Meaning of Education Abroad: A Journal for the Returnee Experience, provides over thirty innovative activities designed for critical self-reflection, vocabulary building to help support successful articulation of international experience learning outcomes, and skill identification and integration into the returnee’s life stateside, including an emphasis on civic engagement and advocacy. The journal and facilitator’s guide (for any interested international educators, faculty, or staff who wish to facilitate activities included in the journal) are available in the NAFSA bookstore online: https://bit.ly/2jMKCaC
