New Programs
New Technologies, Fashion and Media Design in Milan, Semester Program and Summer Program: We are now offering a New Technologies, Fashion and Media Design program in Italy’s capital of fashion and design! In a city filled with delicious food, beautiful architecture, and famous art, students have the opportunity to enroll in courses from the Best Italian Academy of Fine Arts (QS World Rankings 2021, 2022). Students have the opportunity to earn credits toward graduation and learn from the top industry professionals at one of the world’s top rated art and design schools.
Business, Social Sciences, and Humanities at FSU Valencia: At this new site location, students can enroll in general requirements and elective courses in a variety of disciplines in English and Spanish that are easily transferrable to U.S. credits. Applications are now open for Fall 2023 sessions!
Semester Condé Nast Fashion and Merchandising at Richmond University in London: We are now offering our popular Condé Nast Fashion and Merchandising program for a full semester! Students can earn up to 15 semester credits while gaining unique insight into fashion buying, merchandising, and valuable industry perspectives from Condé Nast and their vast network in both London and Paris.
Summer Film and Fashion in Cannes: Study Filmmaking and Fashion in the French Riviera this summer! Famous for the glamorous Cannes Film Festival, this is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on filmmaking experience and study fashion and film in the city that brings these artistic forms together like no other!

Program Changes
Semester International Business Studies in French Alps (Grenoble): We are proud to be offering the Semester International Business Studies in the French Alps once again! Students will have the opportunity to enroll in the Grenoble École de Management (GEM) program which has earned a reputation as a prestigious center for international business study. It is considered one of Financial Times’ Top 50 European business schools and has been recognized by the international accreditation boards of AACSB, AMBA, and EQUIS.
Spanish Language and Latin American Studies in Valparaiso: Previously known as the “Engineering, Environmental Studies, and Social Sciences in Chile” program, Pontificia Universidad Católica de Valparaíso (PUCV) has removed Engineering courses from their offerings. As such, the program description and program title has been changed to “Spanish Language and Latin American Studies in Valparaiso.”
Belgrano Program Cancellation: Universidad de Belgrano has permanently canceled the Semester Intensive Spanish Language Studies in Buenos Aires, as well as the Gap Intensive Language Studies in Buenos Aires. These programs have been removed from our website and campus system listings.
Maymester Differential Equations in Sevilla Cancellation: Our Maymester Differential Equations program in Sevilla, Spain has been canceled. This program has also been removed from our website and campus listings.
Jan Term Updates
API is thrilled to announce several new Jan-Term programs in multiple locations! The Jan-Term program is a great, short-term program that students can often fit in between fall and spring semesters. Plus, it’s lower cost, doesn’t require a visa, and still offers credit-bearing courses!
Jan Term in Costa Rica: We are excited to announce a new Jan-Term program in San José, Costa Rica at Universidad Veritas. With this program, students will have the opportunity for hands-on experience and earn natural sciences credits and lab requirements. Students can visit field stations and natural laboratories across Costa Rica to see ecotourism in action. They can earn up to six academic credits toward their degree, and learn more about tropical marine biology and the importance of the Costa Rican ecosystem.
Jan Term in Milan: We also have a new Jan-Term opportunity in the cosmopolitan city of Milan, Italy! Students can earn three academic credits at Universitá Cattolica del Sacro Cuore (UCSC), one of the oldest universities in Milan and one of the best in Italy. There, students will have courses covering global issues with an Italian perspective and can learn alongside international and Erasmus students from more than 100 different countries. This is a wonderful opportunity to experience the vibrant cultural diversity of Italy’s capital of fashion, art, food, and architecture.
Jan Term in Prague: We have also reinstated our Jan-Term in Prague. This program allows students to study Czech language, history, and culture at Charles University, the oldest university in the Czech Republic. Students have the opportunity to earn three academic credits while experiencing life in one of Europe’s most enchanting cities!
