Direct Enrollment Program at the University of Leeds
The London Times recently voted The University of Leeds the “University of the Year”! It’s also been ranked as the “Best University Destination in the U.K.” by The Independent. The Direct Enrollment Program is one of our most integrated programs in the UK and also offers the widest selection of courses. Students can take classes in business, theology, marketing, sports science and more. This program is also a great option for students wanting to study other languages and cultures. Courses on Arabic Studies, East Asian Studies, Spanish, Portuguese & Latin American Studies are all offered!
Living in Leeds
Students in our Direct Enrollment program live in fully-furnished apartments that include a weekly cleaning service. Leeds is a vibrant and socially-tolerant city. It boasts a combination of quaint English history and a modern, cosmopolitan lifestyle.
API Excursions
Leeds is the geographical center of the UK which makes it ideal for traveling around Britain! When you study abroad with API, our Resident Director takes you to beautiful places like Harlaxton Manor and York. Our spring semester students also get to visit Edinburgh, Scotland! Tour a “plague village” called Eyam and learn what happened there in 1665. Stop in Bakewell to try the world famous Bakewell tart. Spring semester students spend a day at Chatsworth House (you may recognize it from the movie “Pride and Prejudice” or the Netflix series “The Crown”) as well. Some of our Leeds alumni have said these excursions are the BEST part of the whole semester.
