Study Abroad + Options
Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion
API offers a great option in Mendoza for those who want to study abroad in Argentina away from the hustle and bustle of Buenos Aires.
API students who study abroad in Mendoza will attend classes at the Universidad de Congreso. The Universidad de Congreso offers a menu of classes in both Spanish and English that enable students to develop a closer understanding of the region, of Argentina and of Latin America. Courses related to language, culture, the society, economics and politics, as well as community service options, allow students to spend a memorable semester exploring Argentina both inside the classroom and out. Host family accommodations, volunteer opportunities and exciting cultural excursions round out the experience.
“My Resident Director is a down-to-Earth wonderful person who has been very kind and helpful throughout this entire experience. Definitely the best Resident Director possible for this program, and singlehandedly turned my study abroad experience and my life around while being here in Mendoza."
API students in Mendoza have the opportunity to give back to their local community through various volunteer projects, including working at a homeless shelter, working with underprivileged children, or participating in internships with local wineries or travel agencies.
