Students in this program are housed in privately owned accommodations with other UCL students in London. Each building is located near a public transportation stop such as the tube or the bus, making it easy to get to campus.
Want to cook a few meals at home? These accommodations also include kitchens with an oven, stove, microwave and of course a refrigerator. In addition, wireless Internet is provided as well as a weekly cleaning service (to the communal kitchen/living areas).

API is proud to offer a variety of activities and events outside the classroom. Our on-site staff will take you to beautiful and historic areas of the UK, including Canterbury and Oxford. A unique, API-exclusive event includes a tour of Harlaxton Manor! Students tour the manor and learn more about its history. They also take part in an Afternoon Tea and a game of Croquet on the manor grounds.
Another excursion you can plan on for Spring 2020: Peaks, Plague and Puddings! API will take you out of bustling city to the rolling hills of Derbyshire. Sample world-famous pudding at the Bakewell Tart and visit the National Justice Museum in Nottingham.
Students stay in Eyam, which is known as the “plague village.” In 1665, when plague broke out, the villagers chose to isolate themselves, preventing infection from spreading. These days Eyam is a great base for outdoor activities, taking in the beautiful landscape of the national park. Before heading back to London, students will have a chance to explore a stately home that was once home to the rich and famous of English history.
