API Safety Update – Paris Notre Dame

No API students or staff were injured during an incident in Paris today, wherein a man attacked a police officer with a hammer outside the Notre Dame cathedral. The attacker was shot and subsequently apprehended, and only the attacker and a police officer sustained any injuries.

All API students have been advised to avoid the area until local authorities indicate it is safe to return, and have been reminded to monitor local media closely.
