API is pleased to announce that the application deadline for our Teach in Thailand program has been extended to April 1st!
Our partner organization in Thailand has pushed back both the application deadline and the start date to make it possible for students graduating in May to join this program. Participants will begin their orientation in Thailand on June 6th and may choose to teach for one semester (returning home in September) or a full academic year (staying on through March/April 2018).
You can see basics about the program here. Participants in the Teach in Thailand program will be offered a guaranteed placement to teach English in a Thai primary or secondary school. Typically teachers are in the classroom for about 20-25 hours each week, with additional time spent on related tasks (lesson planning, grading, etc.)
