Students who want to study abroad in Ireland: check out University College Cork! This campus is a great option for students focused on sustainability, because UCC has been a “green campus” for years! Today that hard work is really paying off! UCC is now the first university outside of the US and Canada to receive a Gold rating under the AASHE’s STARS program! Because this framework is the most widely recognized in the world for measuring a university’s sustainability, this is a big honor! Here’s a little more about UCC and what you can expect if you study abroad with us in Cork.

A wide variety of courses

Our direct enrollment program offers a wide variety of classes. Students can study anatomy, sociology, law, and more. Many offerings are also available for engineering students. You’ll also find a variety of classes on Irish and Gaelic history, language, and folklore, too!

Internships and certificates available

UCC offers two undergraduate internships. These feature work placements at real businesses and organizations around Cork. The internships can be paid or unpaid and can add up to 2.5 semester credits to your transcripts. Students also have the option to earn certificates on a variety of subjects (Conflict & Conflict Resolution, International Human Rights Law, Irish Studies, European Human Rights Law, Irish Politics, and Political Science).
